At present, the company has 27 tankers and 6 dry bulk carriers, aggregating to 2.52 million deadweight tonnes (DWT). On Monday, it had sold a 1987-built Aframax crude carrier to undisclosed buyers.
According to the presentation, the company's average age of vessels is 9.7 years. Of $573 million, GE Shipping has already paid $207 million through stage payments, it said.
