Wärtsilä and Deltamarin present a series of jointly developed new ferry designs at the Interferry Conference in New York, on October 3 to 6, 2010.
Wärtsilä and Deltamarin have developed a Parametric Design Method, making a clear distinction between the marketable and non-marketable features of a ferry. According to the companies savings can be achieved in the initial investment as well as in the operational costs by modularising and parameterising these elements.
