POT handles 9,1m tons of crude in Jan-Sept, the last year’s volume

The volume of crude oil transshipped by Petersburg Oil Terminal (POT CJSC) for the 9 months of this year totaled 9.1 million tons, or at the same level a year earlier, the stevedore company’s press service said.
In Jan-Sept., the company handled 6.5 million tons of dark petroleum products and this September - 1.2 million tons of oil, up 9% month-on-month. This includes 885,000 tons of dark petroleum products (86,000 tons more than a year earlier).

The oil cargo is transported to the POT by railroad, pipeline and river-going vessels from Russian oil refineries. Among the major suppliers of petroleum products to POT are Kirishsky refinery (Leningrad region), Moscow Oil Refinery, Nizhnekamsk Refinery (Tatarstan), the Perm Refinery (LUKOIL-Permnefteorgsintez, Perm region) and Nizhniy Novgorod Refinery (JSC LUKOIL-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez , Nizhny Novgorod).

Petersburg Oil Terminal CJSC provides services for handling and storage of light and dark oil products intended for export and bunkering vessels. The company produces high-quality analysis of petroleum products, accepts and processes the oily water from ships entering the port.
