Klaipeda Seaport participates in Minsk TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS 2010 Expo

On October 5-7, 2010, the fourth international specialized transport and logistics exhibition “TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS 2010” was held in Minsk (Belarus). On October 6-7, 2010, Belarusian transport congress was held as part of this exposition. In order to further develop a successful cooperation with Belarusian exporters and importers and enhance the image of Klaipeda Port its companies in the market, forming the largest flow of port transit cargo according to the volumes, Klaipeda Port was presented for the fourth time at the exhibition in a joint stand covering 72 m2, Baltic Course reports

The goal of these events, i.e. exhibition and congress, was a comprehensive presentation of all kinds of the state-of-the-art transport and logistics systems and related equipment, services provided in transportation of cargoes and passengers, transport information and maintenance systems. These events were organized by the Ministry of Transport and Economics of Belarus, Belarusian Railways, top transport associations of Belarus.
 
Ten Klaipeda enterprises participated in the joint exposition: ST Klaipeda Stevedoring Company ( KLASCO),  JCT Klaipeda Stevedoring Company Bega, ST Klaipedos Nafta , JST Western Stevedoring, JST Arijus, JST „Baltic Shipping, JST BG Logistics, JST Limarko Maritime Agency, JST BPA and Klaipeda Port Authority. Representatives of other Lithuanian companies went to this exhibition as visitors, BC reports citing Geda Marozaite, a representative of press office of Klaipeda State Seaport Authority.
