FTS OKs rate hike on handling service at the petroleum products BaltTransService terminal in Primorsk

The Federal Tariff Service (FTS of Russia) in its September 23 order (N 234-E / 2) has approved the marginal tariff rate at 154,72 rubles a ton (excluding VAT), charged for handling services of BaltTransService LLC transshipping  petroleum products from pipelines at the Commercial Sea Port of Primorsk (Leningrad region). The order and new tariff are effective from October 1st, the St. Petersburg branch of Rosmorport said.

In July this year, the Russian FTS’ Board approved the tariffs on services provided by BaltTransService at 146.3 r / t (excluding VAT).

Petroleum products terminal at the port of Primorsk was commissioned in May 2008. The terminal 1 Phase is projected for handling annually over 8 million tons of light oil products transported via the pipeline Kstovo-Yaroslavl-Kirishi-Primorsk (the ‘North’ project). Throughput of the terminal in 2009 totaled 4.3 million tons.
