The RTL head emphasized that the company continues to invest in the development of its projects in Russia. Soon, the group hopes to offer its clients a new multi-functional terminal New Harbor in Ust-Luga (Leningrad region).
"The marine terminal being under construction is projected to handle a broad range of goods. I am confident that our new terminal and its location will be the ideal solution for logistics of Ro-Ro imported to Russia. However, we do not plan to be limited only by rolling cargo", Mr. Skovoroda said.
Russian Transport Lines LLC was established in 2004 as a full-cycle logistics company. Since 2005, the RTL has been operating under direct contracts with major car makers. The Company is ranked a leader on the market of customs clearance of autos and vehicles, specializing in finding the best logistics solutions for import of cars, special equipment, components, car parts and equipment for automobile plants.
In 2006, the RTL Group, jointly with the sea fishing port launched the first Russian terminal for handling imported cars in St. Petersburg. The Company provides in St. Petersburg logistics services for car makers of Nissan, Peugeot, Citroen, Infiniti, Renault, Ford, etc. In July 2008, the Group launched the terminal in Novoshakhtinsk. Currently, the RTL Group has been implementing an investment project for building a specialized marine terminal New Harbor in the Leningrad region.
