North-West Shipping Company (NWSC) completed on October 12th the passenger navigation of 2010. The company’s small size and high-speed fleet transported 410,000 passengers this year, the company’s press office said.
The shipping company’s fleet was servicing regular passenger and tourist routes in the waters of the Neva river and the Gulf of Finland, as well as provided individual and corporate tours, including - with the delegates of the St. Petersburg Economic Forum.
11 high-speed ships of Meteor Project transported during the year’s navigation 369,000 passengers, of whom 37,000 – on SaintPetersburg – Kronstadt line, subsidized by the government of St. Petersburg. The Neva and Moscow ships carried 41,000 passengers.
