Shareholders of OJSC Sea Port St. Petersburg at an extraordinary meeting on Oct. 11, 2010 decided to reorganize the stevedore company through accession to it First Stevedore Company CJSC, Second Stevedoring Company CJSC, Third Stevedoring Company CJSC, the Sea Port of St. Petersburg press release said.
It was also decided to increase the authorized share capital of JSC Sea Port St. Petersburg by additional equity offering with conversion of shares of the affiliated company.
Earlier, JSC Sea Port St. Petersburg had reported the merger of the companies, linked historically and organizationally, controlled by a single shareholder, which are operating at the First, Second and Third cargo areas of the seaport, and the formation of a single operator under the name Sea Port of St. Petersburg will improve the stevedore business control, as well as reduce management and administrative costs.
First Stevedoring Company, Second Stevedoring Company and Third Stevedoring Company are part of the group of companies Sea Port St. Petersburg, which is included in the international transportation company Universal Cargo Logistics Holding (UCL Holding).
