Crude-futures price rises to $84.37 in London, in New York to $83.08

As of October 18th, crude prices surged nearly $2, IPE Brent crude futures - by $1,92 to $84.37 a barrel on the London-based ICE Futures Europe exchange, Light Sweet Crude - by $1,83 to $83.37 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
