Nine-month crude exports via Kozmino terminal up to 11,142m tons

Russian oil exports through the terminal Spetsmornefteport Kozmino LLC (Port Vostochny, Primorsky Territory) in January-September 2010 amounted to 11,142,000 tons, PortNews reports citing the Port Authority statistics.

In September, the terminal handled 1 million 304 thousand tons of crude oil.

Special sea oil port of Kozmino is the endpoint of the East Siberia - Pacific Ocean (ESPO) pipeline in Primorsky Krai (Territory). At the first phase of the ESPO project the crude oil is delivered to Kozmino terminal by railroad. Spetsmornefteport Kozmino is able to handle 15 million tons of crud oil a year. The terminal’s capacity is expandable to 30 million tons of oil annually. The first shipment of oil from the terminal was on Dec. 28, 2009.
