Roseximbank is studying the possibility of implementation of investment projects on the territory of the Republic of Ecuador, in such areas as electricity, petroleum refining, and a project for funding supplies to Ecuador road equipment, buses and ships, the press service of Vnesheconombank reported after a meeting of first deputy chairman of Vnesheconombank, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Roseximbank" Nikolai Kosov with Jorge Glas, Coordinating Minister of strategic sectors of the Republic of Ecuador.
There were no details on the shipbuilding projects deals reported.
Jorge Glas said his country would be interested in developing cooperation with major Russian companies and banks. He said that the government of Ecuador is ready to consider the participation of Russian companies and banks as partners in a number of investment projects in Ecuador.
Roseximbank is the Russian Government’s agent bank, for implementation of state policy for support and stimulation of domestic exports of industrial products.
