Rosgranitsa plans to arrange 60 sea ports’ checkpoints by 2017

Federal Agency for Arrangement of the Russian Federation State Border (Rosgranitsa) plans to equip 60 border crossing points by 2017. As Dmitry Bezdelov, the head of the federal agency, who attended the II International Conference "Modern border management. International experience and its applicability in Russia " said responding to PortNews correspondent, the adequate funds for that are supposed to be allocated in the federal target program for 2012-2017.

The chief of the department of state policy for development of the state border Elena Kitova also said in an interview with PortNews that the concept of the federal program is expected to be introduced to the Russian Government in November 2010.

If the concept is approved by the government, Rosgranitsa will develop the federal target program and introduce it to the government next summer.
