Revenue of FSUE Rosmorport for 2010 is expected to amount to 12.5 billion rubles. In 2011 the company’s revenue will increase to more than 13 billion rubles, Rosmorport’s CEO Igor Rusu said in an interview with journalists at a briefing in St. Petersburg, the PortNews correspondent reported.
According to the official, port dues currently make up over 90% of the enterprise’s income. In addition, the company has managed to increase lease charges by reviewing leases contracts on the port state property. Today, Mr. Rusu said, the port berths lease charges do not exceed 5-6% of the stevedore service cost.
Net income of Rosmorport for 2009 is expected at 900 million rubles. The company running its ambitious investment program says its net income for 2011 may fall to 400 million rubles. The investment program, funded though banks’ loans and federal budget, includes the development of the fleet and port infrastructure, said Igor Rusu.
