The Norwegian offshore operator Solstad Offshore has signed a three-year charter agreement with Veolia ES Special Services Inc for the Normand Pacific, which will be delivered later this year from Bergen Group. The vessel is designed for diving and ROV-operations. The vessel has a length of 122 metres and beam of 23 metres. The total deck area is 130 square metres. It has accommodation for a crew of 120 persons. The Normand Pacific has a diesel electric machinery generating an output of 14,760 kW.
Currently Veolia has the Normand Clipper on a one-year contract. The vessel will replace the Normand Clipper upon expiry of its current contract.
