Nine-month net income of Nakhodka CSP down 34%, to 385.3m rubles.

Net income of JSC Nakhodka Commercial Seaport (Primorskiy Territory) for January-September 2010 under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS) shrank by 34% as compared with the same period a year earlier, to 385,303,000 rubles, the company's statement said. Revenue for the nine recent months amounted to 1,832,331,000 rubles, a nearly 10-percent decline from the same period of 2009. The stevedore company said the nine-month revenue drop was largely due to the change in nomenclature of handled goods.

The year-round navigation port of Nakhodka is based in the northern Bay of Nakhodka.  The port is linked via Trans-Siberian Railroad with the entire railroad network of Russia and Western Europe.

JSC Nakhodka Commercial Sea Port is the major stevedoring company operating at the port of Nakhodka. The port is owned by an industrial group Evraz and is the point for shipment by sea the products manufactured by the Group’s enterprises to Asia.
