UN’s Secretary-General pledges to focus on anti-piracy petition

Secretary General of the United Nations (UN) Ban Ki-moon vowed to bring up for discussion at the UN anti-piracy petition, which had raised nearly 1 million signatures of seafarers around the world, the International Transport Workers’ Federation statement said. ITF hopes the issue will be tabled at the UN Security Council during the month.
