China Shipping Container Lines expects a substantial increase in profits for 2010
China Shipping Container Lines (CSCL) says it expects a significant increase in profits for 2010. The Hong Kong-listed company said based on preliminary estimations it expected profits to “increase significantly” for the year ended 31 December 2010 as compared to a RMB6.48bn loss in 2009. CSCL said the substantial improvement in profit was “mainly attributable to the gradual recovery of global economy in 2010 and the restorative growth of the shipping industry”.
