Kuehne + Nagel launches Warsaw - Singapore LCL service
Kuehne + Nagel has started to offer a weekly less-than-container load (LCL) export service between Warsaw and Singapore in order to develop a fast and frequent connection between Poland and China for export activities, Analytiqa reports. The new service enables cargo to be shipped from Poland (Warsaw) to the port of Singapore within 26 days.
Goods are consolidated in the warehouse in Warsaw, transported by truck to Bremen / Hamburg, shipped directly to Singapore and distributed by the Kuehne + Nagel network. Features of the new service include customer-oriented door-to-door services, including insurance and online booking.
This service also promotes transparency throughout the supply chain of any LCL export connection. With Kuehne + Nagel’s logistics information system, KN Login, customers can gain access to historical and anticipated status information, as well as reporting and management analysis on shipment, package, order or item level. Furthermore, the document imaging function allows customers to view bills of lading, commercial invoices and packing lists.
