Rosterminalugol handles 1st million ton of coal

Year-to-date Rosterminalugol JSC (Leningrad region) operating at the port of Ust-Luga has handled the first million ton of exported coal, the company press service said. The millionth ton was loaded on March 1st onto the MV Miho Pracat.

Ust-Luga-based RosTerminalUgol JSC (part of Kuzbassrazrezugol Holding) is a stevedoring company created in 1996 for construction and operating the Coal Terminal at the port of Ust-Luga. The terminal’s projected capacity is 8 million tons of coal a year. Rosterminalugol specializes in loading and unloading operations, freight forwarding services. The company also provides insurance services for goods and property, the risks of transactions at the commercial port. In 2010, coal exports via the terminal totaled 7,5 million tons.
