LUKOIL-Bunker has been awarded a contract from Rosmorport for bunkering of diesel-electric icebreakers in the Gulf ports during the 2011-2012 winter navigation, the Company said Tuesday.
LUKOIL-Bunker won the first tender held by Rosmorport for a phased delivery of 6,490 tons of IFO30 this November.
LUKOIL-Bunker said it would be able to supply any volume of fuel oil to auxiliary fleet of Rosmorport, Big Port St. Petersburg and seaports of Leningrad region during the upcoming winter season.
Since January, LUKOIL-Bunker has made bunkering of state-owned icebreakers operating at the port of Primorsk from a Vysotsk-based bunkering terminal (some 25nm off Primorsk port). The company’s nine bunker tankers will be able to supply fuel oil to vessels at Big Port St. Petersburg, Ust-Luga port from marine terminal LUKOIL-II, and in the waters of the port of Primorsk, the Company said.
LUKOIL-Bunker is a subsidiary of Russian oil giant LUKOIL. The Company’s major activities – supply of marine fuel at sea and river ports of Russia and Bulgaria, MFO wholesale supply. LUKOIL-Bunker is rated among the top largest suppliers of bunker oil products at Russian ports.
