Container traffic at the port of Hong Kong rose in October to stand at 2.07m teu, according to figures from the port authority, Seatrade Asia online reports. October throughput climbed 8.1% year-on-year compared to 1.91m teu in the same month of 2010.
Container traffic also increased from 1.96m teu recorded in September this year.
In the first 10 months of this year, Hong Kong registered 20.25m teu of throughput, up 3.6% compared to the corresponding period of last year.
