  WSS safety service gets Germanischer Lloyd approval

  

  WSS’s global safety service network has received safety service approval from Germanischer Lloyd, making WSS the first and only company to receive a global GL approval within the maritime safety service business, WSS press release said.
  
  The GL approval brings us the opportunity to carry out safety service jobs on GL registered vessels worldwide.
  Mats Hestman, WSS International Service Manager Safety said:
  
  “Improved maritime safety is a key area of focus for flag states, classification societies and is at the very top of IMO agenda. Keeping in line with this need and our commitment to safety, Our safety service strategy is to offer high quality service and set the standard for industry best practice”.

  The new GL approval covers all in-house stations and subcontractors.
