The strategy of development of Russia's maritime sector until 2030 should be finalized, Russian Vice-Premier said Friday at the meeting of Marine Board in Moscow.
Chairman of the Maritime Board, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said the strategy should be based on more realistic indicators and have obligatory character. The strategy needs to be reviewed and updated as some of its deadlines were not met.
The official said he believes that it is urgent to study the experience of foreign countries in attracting ships under the national flag, as well as in making their domestic ports more competitive.
