Federal Agency of Maritime and River Transport of Russia (Rosmorrechflot) plans to decide on the form of conversion of another state-owned company FSUE ROSMORPORT by mid-2014, the company's official said on Friday.
Deputy director of Rosmorrechflot Konstantin Stasiuk told a joint meeting of the agency's Board and Public Council that "Rosmorrechflot continues work on determination of the most optimal model of enterprise development”.
The agency's head Alexander Davydenko explained that deciding on the future ownership of ROSMORPORT “we should rush making decisions and we should wait for draft proposals on the issue from the new company's management”.
Executive director of the Association of Sea Commercial Ports Serik Zhusupov added that the reforms in ROSMORPORT should not lead to suspension of lease contracts and as a consequence of stevedoring services at ports.
