Terminal Novaya Gavan (Ust-Luga port) website wins national “golden website” award

LLC «Terminal Novaya Gavan» (Ust-Luga port) corporate website has won the nomination «Transport and logistics in the national «Golden website» competition, the company announced. The website was developed by marketing group «Tekart» in 2013.

The contest was held with a purpose of best strategies as well as Internet usage methods identification among all Russian regions and the CIS.

As noted by Maksim Morozov (LLC «TNG» general manager): «This award indicates that correct development strategy of terminal’s capability and Novaya Gavan cargo area was chosen».

Terminal Novaya Gavan is a sea terminal intended for ro-ro and general cargo. It was launched in 2011 in the North East part of the Luga Bay (Gulf of Finland) as a separate cargo district of commercial seaport Ust-Luga. The terminal is the northernmost part of the port, the first one for vessels arriving at Ust-Luga.

The operating terminal covers the area of 24 ha. The operating length of the first berth – 150 m, depth at the berth – 9.6 m. The terminal facilities can store up to 10,000 automobiles with daily loading of up to 240 car trucks. 

There is a border checkpoint at the terminal.

Located close to highways and railways being a part of international transport corridors provides Ust-Luga logistic complex with an opportunity to become the largest multimodal logistic center in the North West region of Russia.
