Commercial seaport of Arkhangelsk introduces ice navigation restrictions (Ice 3) for vessels accepted for icebreaking assistance towards Arkhangelsk in the White Sea, says the Harbour Master’s Decree dated Febuary 2, 2015.
According to the Decree, icebreaking assistance at the route from cape Svyatoi Nos – northern border of Arkhangelsk seaport’s water area – along entrance channel up to buoy No 12 and back will be provided to vessels with minimum ice class Ice 3 (under RS classification).
The route from buoy No 12 and up the N. Dvina river within the water area of seaport Arkhangelsk and back is available for Ice 2 vessels (RS classification).
