The Board of Directors of FINCANTIERI S.p.A. (“Fincantieri” or the “Company”), chaired by Vincenzo Petrone, approved today, within a company reorganization process, the unification of the Corporate General Management Unit, assigned to Mr. Vitaliano Pappaianni, and the Operations General Management Unit, assigned to Mr. Enrico Buschi, into a single General Management Unit, the company said in its press release.
The Board, upon proposal of the Chief Executive Officer Giuseppe Bono, also resolved to appoint as General Manager Mr. Andrea Mangoni, already member of the Company’s Board of Directors since June 2013, who will take up his new role by March 2015. Following the new appointment, Mr. Andrea Mangoni maintains his role as member of the Board of Directors but resigns from the Board Committees.
In the context of the above mentioned company reorganization, Mr. Pappaianni and Mr. Buschi will maintain their current roles as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SEAF S.p.A. and as Chief Executive Officer of Fincantieri Oil & Gas S.p.A respectively, both companies are controlled by Fincantieri.
