In January-February 2015, port Kaliningrad handled 2,191,700 t of cargo (+4%, year-on-year), Baltic Sea Port Authority says.
Transshipment of dry bulk cargo plunged by 49% to 110,300 t including 63,500 t of coal (-31%, year-on-year). Transshipment of loose dry cargo climbed by 49% to 747,800 t, general cargo – down 28% to 239,400 t, containerized cargo – down over two times to 25,299 TEUs (or down 34% to 123,800 t). Transshipment of cargo carried by ferries totaled 302,600 t (+80%), liquid bulk cargo - 666,700 (-3%) including 400,200 t of oil products (-18%), 132,000 t of crude (+3%) and 125,700 t of food cargoes (+77%).
