COSCON hikes rates for Transpacific trade

In order to continue to provide quality and reliable services, COSCON will implement General Rate Increase program for all dry and reefer cargo from Far East and Indian Subcontinent Countries Region to all USA and Canadian destination (East Bound) effective from June 1, 2015, the shipping company said in a press release.

The details of GRI are as follows:
Per 20' CTR                  USD 480
Per 40' CTR                  USD 600
Per 40' High Cube CTR    USD 675
Per 45 CTR                   USD 760

Far East & Indian Sub-continent include: Bangladesh, Brunei, Burma, Cambodia, China Hong Kong, China Macao, China Mainland, China Taiwan, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam.
