In January-April 2015, Russian seaports handled 212.3 mln t (+5.8%, year-on-year), says the press center of Association of Commercial Sea Ports.
Transshipment of dry bulk cargo totaled 88.3 mln t (-0.2%) including 35.8 mln t of coal (+0.8%), 9.2 mln t of ferrous metal (+10.8%), 4.6 mln t of mineral fertilizers (+1.5%), 4.5 mln t of cargoes carried by ferries (up 1.8 times). Transshipment of containerized cargo fell to 13.1 mln t (-14.4%), grain – to 6.4 mln t (-8.9%), ore – to 1.5 mln t (-23.3%).
Transshipment of liquid bulk cargo totaled 124.0 mln t (+10.5%) including 68.8 mln t of crude oil (+7.2%), 49.3 mln t of oil products (+16.6%) and 4.6 mln t of liquefied gas (+5.5%).
Transshipment of export cargo totaled 173.2 mln t (+7.5%, year-on-year) including 10.4 mln t of imports (-23.9%), 15.7 mln t of transit cargo (-3.9%) and 12.9 mln t of coastal trade cargo (+36.0%).
Operators of the Arctic Basin terminals handled 11.3 mln t (-1.8%, year-on-year) including 7.5 mln t of dry cargo (-9.6%) and 3.8 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (+17.9%). The port of Murmansk handled 6.9 mln t (-9.8%), Varandei - 2.1 mln t (+13.7%), Arkhangelsk - 1.5 mln t (+13.2%).
The ports of the Baltic Basin handled 74.9 mln t (+4.7%) including 27.2 mln t of dry bulk cargo (-3.5%) and 47.7 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (+10.0%). The port of Ust-Luga handled 28.0 mln t (+21.5%), Primorsk - 19.9 mln t (+4.0%), Vysotsk - 5.3 mln t (+0.4%), Big Port St. Petersburg - 17.1 mln t (-10.7%), Kaliningrad - 4.3 mln t (-4.7%).
Throughput of Azov - Black Sea ports climbed to 70.2 mln t (+11.7%) including 23.5 mln t of dry cargo (+11.7%) and 46.7 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (+11.7%). The port of Novorossiysk handled 43.5 mln t (+5.7%), Tuapse - 8.7 mln t (+24.4%), Kavkaz - 5.0 mln t (+39.1%), Yeisk - 1.0 mln t (+10.7%), Temryuk - 1.0 mln t (up 1.8 times), Taganrog - 0.9 mln t (+6.4%), Taman - 3.9 mln t (no change), Rostov - 2.6 mln t (-6.7%), Azov - 1.4 mln t (-13.0%).
The ports of the Caspian Basin handled 2.4 mln t of cargo (-0.7%) including 1.1 mln t of dry cargo (+38.7%) and 1.3 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (-20.5%). Throughput of port Makhachkala decreased by 16.7% while its dry cargo transshipment increased by 11.2%. Throughput of port Astrakhan increased by 35.1%, Olya – up 1.7 times.
The ports of Far East Basin handled 53.4 mln t (+2.3%) including 28.9 mln t of dry cargo (-3.8%) and 24.5 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (+10.5%). Port Vostochny handled 20.8 mln t (+14.3%), Vanino - 8.4 mln t (+1.1%), De-Castri – 3.3 mln t (+21.8%), Kholmsk - 0.5 mln t (+7.0%), Nakhodka - 6.6 mln t (-1.7%), Prigorodnoye - 5.7 mln t (-2.4%), Vladivostok - 4.0 mln t (-22.2%), Posiet - 1.9 mln t (-20.4%).
