Prosecutor’s Office clarifies amendments into MMC of Russia in part related to Seafarer's Identity Cards

Seafarer's identity cards cannot be provided to persons from the list of organizations and natural entities involved in extremism and terrorism activities, Saint-Petersburg Transport Prosecutor's Office says.

Identity cards provided earlier to such persons are not applicable and are to be withdrawn.

The Federal Law “On Introduction of Amendments into the Merchant Marine Code of the Russian Federation in the Part Related to the Seafarer's Identity Cards” came into effect on April 11, 2015.
