In January-June 2015, port Taganrog handled 1.28 mln t of different cargoes (+6.7%, year-on-year), IAA PortNews learnt at the Harbour Master’s office of the port.
Transshipment of oil products fell by 12.2% to 468,000 t while coal transshipment increased by 38.9% to 294,000 t, grain — by 32.3% to 221,400 t, ferrous metal – by 28.1% to 233,700 t.
In the reported period, exports fell by 21.8% to 821,100 t, imports - 3 times to 29,900 t. Transshipment of coastal trade cargo totaled 426,000 t (up 7.1 times, year-on-year).
In January-June 2015, the port authorities registered 404 incoming and 408 outgoing vessels against 403 incoming and 413 outgoing vessels a year ago.
