Sabetta port's marine border crossing post complies with regulatory requirements, Rosgranitsa says
A multi-agency commission on July 15 visited the permanent marine cargo Russian Federation border crossing post (MPP) in the seaport of Sabetta within Phase 1 / Stage 2 and found the MMP complex is compliant with the requirements for the construction, renovation, equipment and buildings, premises and facilities necessary for the organization of border, customs and other controls carried out at checkpoints across the state border of the Russian Federation, Rosgranitsa said.
Members of the inter-departmental commission approved and signed acceptance certificate for the facility in Sabetta.
Yamal LNG project envisages the construction of an LNG plant with annual capacity of 16.5 million tonnes per annum based on the feedstock resources of the South-Tambeyskoye field. The launch of LNG production is scheduled for 2017. Yamal LNG is currently owned by NOVATEK (60%), TOTAL (20%) and CNPC (20%).
International port Sabetta is under construction through the public-private partnership. The federally owned facilities will include ice barriers, operational water area, access channels and the Vessel Traffic Management and Information Systems, buildings of sea services. The facilities of Yamal LNG project will include technological berths for LNG and gas condensate transshipment, ro-ro berths, port fleet berths, warehousing facilities, administrative zone, engineering utility networks and services.
