OOCL announces Q2 2015 results
Orient Overseas (International) Limited announced unaudited operational updates for company on a quarterly basis, the company said in its press release. This announcement sets out the unaudited operational update for OOCL for the second quarter of 2015 (ended 30th June 2015). The comparative figures for the second quarter of 2014 (ended 30th June 2014) are also disclosed in this announcement. For the second quarter of 2015 (ended 30th June 201 5), total volumes were 2.1% down from the same period last year. Total revenues decrease d by 9.3% to US Dollars 1,362.4 million. Loadable capacity increased by 7.1%. The overall l oad factor was 6.8% lower than the same period in 2014. Overall average revenue per teu de creased by 7.4% compared to the second quarter of last year. For the first six months of 2015 (ended 30th June 2 015), total volumes decreased by 2.3% over the same period last year and total revenues record ed a 6.4% drop. Loadable capacity increased by 2.8%. The overall load factor was 3.8 % lower than the same period in 2014. Overall average revenue per teu decreased by 4.2% c ompared to the same period last year.
