MOL launches new Asia-United States East Coast service
MOL is launching a new Asia-United States East Coast service (Z7S). The service will transport cargo to/from ports in China, Vietnam, Malaysia and Sri Lanka and the U.S. East Coast ports of New York, Norfolk and Savannah, the company said in its press release.
The Z7S port rotation will be:
Da Chan Bay (Sun/Sun) – Yantian (Mon/Mon) – Cai Mep (Thu/Thu) – Port Kelang (Sat/Sun) – Colombo (Wed/Thu) – New York (Tue/Wed) – Norfolk (Thu/Fri) – Savannah (Sun/Mon) – Port Kelang (Mon/Mon) – Da Chan Bay (Sun/Sun)
Commencement: From Benita Schulte 001E, ETA/ETD on May 8, 2016 at Da Chan Bay
The Z7S provides direct coverage from Da Chan Bay and Port Kelang to the United States East Coast. The service also offers competitive transit times from Cai Mep to New York (26 days) and from Colombo to New York (19 days), Norfolk (21 days), and Savannah (24 days). Transshipment via Colombo will enable very competitive transit times from Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh.
