RF Government signs Decree on expansion of Taman seaport (Krasnodar Territory)

On 16 February 2017, the Government of the Russian Federation signed a Decree focused on implementation of new investment projects and development of existing infrastructure at the seaport of Taman, says the official website of the Government.

The following construction projects are to be implemented at the port: a dry bulk terminal with annual capacity of 35 mln t; a grain terminal of Agroholding Taman LLC; a terminal of Tamanneftegaz CJSC (an LNG transshipment facility and a process rack); a terminal of Tamanneftegaz CJSC (transshipment of oversized and heavy cargo).

The Decree defines the category of land and approves the use of reclaimed land.

The projects will fully financed by an investor, OTEKO JSC.

According to the document, this will contribute to the development of Taman seaport and generation of new jobs.
