German Yelyanyushkin appointed as head of Moscow Canal (photo)
Federal Marine and River Transport Agency (Federal Marine and River Transport Agency) says German Yelyanyushkin has been appointed as head of FSBI Moscow Canal effective 14 March 2017 (Order No 28/к-мрф).
German Yelyanyushkin was born in 1969 in Syzran, Samara Region. In 1995 he graduated from RF Interior Ministry’s Saint-Petersburg Higher School of Fire Engineering with as fire safety engineer; in 2000 – from Saint-Petersburg State University of RF Interior Ministry as lawyer.
Previous positions: 2013-2016 – Deputy Chairman of the Moscow Region Government ; 2016 - 2017 – Advisor to Moscow Region Governor (ministerial rank).
FSBI Moscow Canal is responsible for maintenance, operation and development of inland water ways, hydraulic engineering structures and berths; navigation safety; state port control; vessel traffic control; safety of transport infrastructure and facilities under the company management.
