Over RUB 15 bln is going to be invested in modernization of Russian shipyards, IAA PortNews correspondent cites Denis Manturov, RF Minister of Industry and Trade, as saying at the meeting dedicated to the 10^th anniversary of the United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC).

Among the modernization projects he distinguished shipyards in the Crimea, Saint-Petersburg and Rybinsk.

USC President Aleksei Rakhmanov said in his turn that modernization of Admiralteiskie Verfi shipyard (Saint-Petersburg) would make it possible to build large capacity ships.
