Passenger Port of St. Petersburg welcomed 56 cruise ships in June 2017

From 01st to 30th of June Passenger Port of St. Petersburg has received 56 cruise ships which brought 122 770 passengers to Saint Petersburg. Seven Seas Explorer and Mein Schiff 6 made their inaugural calls. 

According to the port, the total berth time of the ships is 105 ship-days, total amount of passenger operations – 441 451.

Services provided to ships:
Fresh water bunkering – 18 257 m3
Garbage collection – 1 298 m3
Waste-waters reception – 15 239 m3

In the indicated period 5 helicopters have used the helipad of Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg for landing and take-off.

On 8th of June, a record number of passengers have arrived at Passenger port of St. Petersburg on board of six cruise ships – 17 911. Thus, the record of two years ago was broken when the Port welcomed 14 568 cruise tourists. These six vessels have already made 17 calls at Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg in 2017 and are the largest, simultaneously moored at the berths of the Port.

On June 21st Passenger Port of St. Petersburg for the first time in cruise season 2017 has received 7 cruise ships. The vessels have brought more than 12 232 passengers abroad. The total length of moored ships – 1.8 km. According to the increase of shipcalls during the cruise season 2017 the Port will receive maximum number of ships three times more often than previous cruise season.

On 22nd of June cruise ship Seven Seas Explorer (Regent Seven Seas Cruises) has made its maiden call to Passenger Port of Saint-Petersburg. Until the end of summer season 2017 Seven Seas Explorer will visit the Passenger Port of St. Petersburg 6 times.

On June 23rd cruise ship Mein Schiff 6 operated by TUI Cruises made its Inaugural call to Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg. Traditionally a welcome plaque ceremony was arranged on board the vessel.
Mein Schiff 6 will make the next call at the Port on July 3rd, during the Baltic cruise.

On June 29th ferry Princess Anastasia (MOBY SPL) called the Passenger Port of St. Petersburg for the first time during the 2017 cruise season. «PP SPb MF» PLC has been cooperating with the ferry line since 2010 – its foundation. For 7 years, ferries made more than 200 calls at the Port. During cruise season 2017 the ferry will make 2 calls at the Port.

Maximum number of vessels at the Passenger Port of St. Petersburg this month - 7 vessels on 21st of June.
