Academic Pashin tanker underwent inclining experiment at Nevsky Shipyard

In July 2017, at Nevsky Shipyard for the average marine tanker of the project 23130, construction number 901 “Academic Pashin”, the inclining experiment was conducted to determine the weight of the vessel empty and the center of gravity of the vessel, in accordance with the requirements of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping and Regulatory requirements of the Navy.

In the process of carrying out the inclining test and based on the results of calculations, the obtained weights of the vessel empty and the coordinates of the center of gravity are confirmed by the calculated values. Nevsky Shipyard says the experiment was conducted under the supervision of RS inspectors and a representative of the Customer.

The construction of the vessel is carried out in accordance with the state contract for the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. The project is developed by Spetssudoproect, JSC.

The vessel is designed for receiving, storing, transporting and transferring of liquid cargo: diesel fuel, fuel oil, aviation kerosene, motor oil, water; dry cargo: food, skipper and technical equipment.

The navigation area is unrestricted in accordance with the class of the vessel in accordance with the rules of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.
