In January-November 2017, the Port of Saint-Petersburg handled 48.60 mln t of cargo (+11%, year-on-year). According to the port authority, transshipment of oil products grew by 14% to 6.68 mln t, dry bulk cargo – climbed by 18% to 7.92 mln t, general cargo – up 4% to 11.42 mln t, transshipment of Ro-Ro cargo – up 75% to 1.13 mln t.
The port’s container throughput increased by 9.7% to 1.75 mln TEUs.
In 2016, the port handled 48.62 mln t of cargo, its container throughput was 1.74 mln TEUs.
