Throughput of Russian seaports in January 2018 grew by 2.4% to 61.93 mln t
In January 2018, Russian seaports handled 61.93 mln t of cargo (+2.4%, year-on-year) including 27.9 mln t of dry bulk cargo (+11.1%) and 34.03 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (-3.8%), says press center of Federal Marine and River Transport Agency (Rosmorrechflot).
Seaports of the Arctic basin handled 6.74 mln t (+ 38.6%) including 2.46 mln t of dry bulk cargo (+ 46.3%) and 4.28 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (+ 34.5 %). .
Seaports of the Baltic Basin handled 19.78 mln t (-4.0%) including 8.72 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (+19.5%) and 11.07 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (-16.9%).
Seaports of the Azov-Black Sea Basin handled 19.78 mln t (-0.1%) including 7.74 mln t of dry bulk cargo (+0.1%) and 12.04 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (-0.2%).
Seaports of the Caspian Basin handled 0.43 mln t (+45.9%) including 0.24 mln t of dry bulk cargo (+9.3%) and 0.19 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (up 2.5 times).
Seaports of the Far East Basin handled 15.2 mln t of cargo (+ 1.8%) including 8.74 mln t of dry bulk cargo (+ 6.4%) and 6.46 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (-3.9%).
