Throughput of Russian seaports in 2M’18 grew by 4.4% to 121 million tonnes

In January-February 2018, Russian seaports handled 121.71 million tonnes of cargo (+4.4%, year-on-year) including 55.37 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+12%) and 66.34 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (-1.1%), says press center of Federal Marine and River Transport Agency (Rosmorrechflot).

Seaports of the Arctic basin handled 12.71 million tonnes (+21.9%) including 4.54 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+16.4%) and 8.17 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+25.2%).

Seaports of the Baltic Basin handled 38.68 million tonnes (-3.7%) including 16.59 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+12.3%) and 22.08 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (-13.0%).

Seaports of the Azov-Black Sea Basin handled 39.87 million tonnes (+9.3%) including 16.1 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+15.2%) and 23.77 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+5.7%).

Seaports of the Caspian Basin handled 0.85 million tonnes (+58.0%) including 0.47 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+14.1%) and 0.38 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (up 3-fold).

Seaports of the Far East Basin handled 29.6 million tonnes (+2.3%) including 17.67 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+ 7.9%) and 11.93 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (-5.0%).
