Omsk branch of Glavgosexpertiza (Russia’s Main Department of State Expertise) has approved the second phase of repair and lay-up point for vessels and rescue equipment to be built in Salekhard.
Glavgosexpertiza says its experts have come to the conclusion that the results of engineering surveys and design documentation comply with the requirements of technical regulations and other established requirements.
The facility is intended for repair, lay-up and maintenance of vessels and rescue equipment.
The project provides for construction of three hangars, an administrative building, a check point, a transformer substation, a modular boiler and other engineering facilities as well as a pile berth. Water area is to be developed for cargo carrying and engineering ships.
The project will be financed by the federal budget and internal funds of FBD Ob-Irtysh Inland Waterways Basin.
