Port of Singapore throughput in 2018 grew by 0.4% Y-o-Y to 630.03 million tonnes
Freight traffic at the Port of Singapore in 2018, was up 0.4% on the same period in 2017, to 630.03 million tonnes, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore provisional figures show.
The volume oil cargo and non-oil bulk cargo dropped by 5% and 9.5%, respectively, to 221.44 million and 16.84 million tonnes million tonnes.
Container traffic grew by 8.7% to 16.84 million TEUs.
Singapore is the city-state located on an island in Southeast Asia. In 2017, the port handled 626.17 million tonnes of cargo.
