  “K” Line completes additional development (Phase-2) of “Kawasaki Integrated Maritime Solutions”

  

  Since March 2016, “K” Line has been operating the Kawasaki Integrated Maritime Solutions jointly developed with the Kawasaki Heavy Industries Group. After start of operation, “K” Line have been working on additional development of the system for purpose of further strengthening its safe and economic operation, which has now been completed.

  “K” Line Group says it will make effective use of this system and will continue to focus on the development of engine plant operation support and trouble prediction diagnosis functions. The Group will also continue to work on environmental conservation by further safe and economic operations.

  “K” Line was established in 1919 and is presently one of the largest Japanese shipping companies. With a recent expansion of operations into drill ships and offshore support vessels, “K” Line’s total fleet size is now at 534 vessels. Its fleet includes large container ships, bulk carriers, car carriers, crude oil tankers, liquefied petroleum gas carriers and liquefied natural gas carriers.
