Oboronlogistics provides stability of the ferry line Ust-Luga — Baltiysk

LLC Oboronlogistics’ ferry Ambal performs transportation on the line Ust-Luga-Baltiysk in the absence of the second ferry on the line - Baltiysk (operator of LLC "BFI"), undergoing dock repairs at the Kronstadt marine plant.

LLC Oboronlogistics transferred terms of planned repair of the ferry Ambal to the end of repair of the ferry Baltiysk in order to ensure stable operation of the railway ferry service to the Kaliningrad region.

Ambal provides transportation of various cargoes in the interests of the military Department and commercial customers between the Baltic and Ust-Luga without passing through the territory of the Baltic States. The average weight of the cargo batch is about 8000 tons. Approximate travel time is 38 hours. In accordance with the current schedule, the ferry Ambal makes 5-6 round trips per month.
