Throughput of Russian seaports in 11M’19 grew by 2.7% to 766.83 million tonnes
In January-November 2019, Russian seaports handled 766.83 million tonnes, up 2.7% year-on-year, says press center of the Federal Marine and River Transport Agency (Rosmorrechflot).
In the reporting period, transshipment of dry bulk cargo fell by 4% - до 342.77 million tonnes, liquid bulk cargo grew by 8.8% to 424.05 million tonnes.
Seaports of the Arctic Basin handled 96.09 million tonnes (+14.5%) including 29.06 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+3.5%) and 67.03 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+20.1%).
Seaports of the Baltic Basin handled 235.83 million tonnes (+5.1%) including 101.34 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+1.3%) and 134.49 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+8.2%).
Seaports of the Azov-Black Sea Basin handled 234.13 million tonnes (-6.2%) including 86.90 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (-21.4%) and 147.23 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+5.8%).
Seaports of the Caspian Basin handled 6.65 million tonnes (+50.5%) including 2.47 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+1.6%) and 4.17 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+110.8%).
Seaports of the Far East Basin handled 194.14 million tonnes (+5.2%) including 123.0 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+6.0%) and 71.14 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+4.0%).
