DFDS swap ships on the North Sea routes

DFDS Seaways will make a swap of ships on the North Sea routes. The latest purchase, the Princess of Norway, will change to the service from Ijmuiden to Newcastle and become fleetmate with its sistership the King of Scandinavia. Instead the veteran the Queen of Scandinavia will switch to the Bergen-Newcastle run and offer more Commodore cabin and larger conference facilities, which has been needed since DFDS Seaways took over the service from Bergen. Also the Queen of Scandinavia has a higher service speed making it easier to maintain the schedule. The Princess of Norway has a higher freight capacity on the car deck, which is much more needed on the Ijmuiden service. The swap will take place on May 29.
