New transshipment complex to be put into operation in Odessa port
New multi-purpose transshipment complex built at Karantin pier of Odessa port (Ukraine) may start operation late in 2007, press center of Odessa Commercial Seaport reports according to IA Reporter. Stevedoring company Olimpecs Cupe has started implementation of the project on construction of a multi-purpose transshipment complex including 100,000-ton grain storage. Company specialists are currently preparing the ground behind berths No 3 and 4 for construction site. According to the press center, first phase of the transportation complex is to be put into operation in late 2007.
